If you really want an alarm system you can either go with a fully monitored one which is great but expensive or put your boyfriend to work, tell him to be a man and install a wireless one for you. I'm glad you and your family are okay. Just the other day I had my car broken into and trashed. I feel very violated and can't stop thinking about 'what if the thieves had decided to break in my home instead of the car'. It's a pretty scary thought. My boyfriend isn't too worried but I am and I'm looking at my options to feel safe at home. I'm really thinking about buying some type of alarm system and have been frantically researching on line.
